Big Bear Weather Report
With about 300 days of sunshine a year, it’s no wonder Big Bear remains a perennial favorite outdoor destination. Rain storms, and thank goodness, snowstorms, are much more frequent at these moist heights, but storm systems tend to roll through quickly. The overall temperature is mild. The warmest month, July, seldom sees temps above 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The lowest recorded winter level was -25 F; not all that cold for a location so far above sea level. Still, rangers remind campers that freezing temperatures have been recorded every single month of the year, so wear layers and be prepared. These are the best local sources for current weather conditions.
