Cottages are generally very close to Bed and Breakfast style accommodations. They are cozy inns with big fluffy beds, and some have amenities like fireplaces. Often there is a coffee maker in the room or a hot plate, but don't expect to find a full kitchen or a lot of cooking supplies.

3 star - Set in Big Bear City and just past the Moonridge turnoff for Bear Mountain, Cathy's Cottages are quaint old tyme cabins done with a rustic mountain theme with trees all around.

Sleepy Forest Cottages

3 stars - 17 cottages set in the woods and a short drive to the slopes. The rooms are like suites, with jacuzzi spas, beds, fireplaces in one room and some have adjacent kitchenettes. The property caters to couples which means quiet.

Castlewood Cottages

2.5 stars - If you like kings and queens, you appreciate this medieval castle style decor. Rooms have kitchenettes and fireplaces and they have limited food service, internet and a jacuzzi

3 stars - This B & B is a converted mansion. Rooms have internet, some with in room jacuzzi tubs. Each room is decorated differently and they offer breakfast
