This romantic woodland retreat is simply buzzing with businesses devoted to helping you plan the perfect wedding. It makes a lot of sense. Big Bear is relatively close to major cities that out of state guests can reach with ease. So many rental properties and accommodations can be reached with ease. And, of course, this place is stunningly beautiful.
Wedding reception venues range from the cozy B&Bs to a sprawling ranch that offers discounts to firefighters and military service people. (See “Churches” on this site.) A couple of photographers and a videographer, a limo service, florists and literally dozens of caterers are eager to help create the perfect fairytale affair. Priests and pastors from a wide range of faiths and denominations are eager to make it all official.
