Jazz Trax June 2011
June 24-26 marks the 10th annual Big Bear Jazz Trax, a soulful weekend of smooth jazz on the shores of Big Bear Lake. Each year the 3 day event features brass and blues as the music and atmosphere can't be beat. The concert is held at waters edge on a floating stage, and the audience on beach chairs and blankets. This years opening event is Chris Standring followed by Marcus Anderson, Johannes Linstead, Warren Hill, Jackiem Joyner, Marion Meadows and Peter White.The Jazz Trax folks have set it up so it is really easy for you to come on up, get some inexpensive lodging, and walk to the venues so that you can party down at the lake all day and night. There will be food specials, shopping and all the great things to do in Big Bear.
