Night Skiing at Summit and Bear Mountain

It is kind of cool.  The air gets colder, the day crowds subside, the lights come on, and the music seems to echo through the trees.  This is night skiing at both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain.
There is not much more to be said, but it is an experience you will want to do.  The groomers will be out making snow, but that doesn't stop the runs from being in top shape and the night progresses.  Night Skiing is from 3:00 PM - 9:30PM. 

Night skiing is only on Fridays and Saturdays, and this season through March 10. The rates are different depending on the weekend. They usually are about $20 less than the regular adult day rate for that day. Not bad for 6.5 hours of fun.
Night Skiing at Snow Summit
The runs light up at both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain for night skiing.
For those of you with tough thighs and just want to make the most of your vacation in Big Bear, a little known secret is that you can get a $10.00 upgrades on your lift ticket. So if you buy a day pass, you can night ski for just $10 bucks more.  But you got to upgrade before the customer service windows close. :-)
