Shopping Areas in Lake Tahoe
As you can imagine this tourist haven offers wonderful opportunities for
buying unique handcrafted gifts, memorabilia, boutique items, artisan wares,
antiques and original art as well as some great quality sports gear shops. However,
for basic essentials your best bet is probably to head back to Reno.
Harrah’s and Caesar’s offer shopping galore, as do some of
the ski resorts. A few of the malls we mention below do offer grocery
stores.

Such a fun and picturesque place to shop, it offers many quaint
shops and wonderful views of the lake
Truckee Old Town
A classic old "main street" awaits you with small boutique shops, plenty of restaurants and bars. A must do.
Christmas Tree Village
Themed like, well you know, Christmas.

Has a European flair, movie theater and cafes
Squaw Valley Village - 530 583-6985 The famous Tram comes right to the steps of
the Village which is filled with 50 retails shops.

Northstar at Tahoe
They recently completed their new Village. It has retail, food, bars, ice skating and movies.
South Shore Blvd.
The Heavenly Valley gondola comes right down into the town and into the heart of the shopping district on the south shore which has 100's of shops, dining and the casinos just across the state line.
