Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts Open November 17

The ski areas of Lake Tahoe open on November 17. The weather is cold, the ski areas are grooming and making man made snow to keep it fresh, and everyone is ready for a stellar opening weekend. Thanksgiving is a good time to come on over, and early season rates up till Christmas are in effect. If you want to stay closer to Northstar, choose lodging near Incline Village, Carnelian Bay, Tahoe City, Tahoe Vista or Kings Beach, same for Squaw. If you go south, go to Heavenly Valley. It is about 70 miles round trip around the lake, and you can drive it, if the snow pack is not too heavy. So what are you waiting for? When ya driving up?
