Lake Tahoe is the place for you Northern California families who love to ski and play in the snow. North shore Lake Tahoe offers a wide variety of ski terrain and mountain choices depending on your demand for altitude and attitude. Northstar area is great for families with all terrain for skiing. The area is upscale and the new Northstar Village is wonderful. Squaw and Alpine Meadows near Tahoe City are great for skiers and riders who are more advanced. on the Neavada side of the lake Diamond Peak is also good for families and we have a whole new Incline Village set of lodging available

In the south, we've added more luxcury units at Heavenly Valley Mountain Resort which is also a good all around family destination for skiing. A little further to drive if you're coming from the North, bay area or Reno airport, but a lot closer if you're going to do a combo Mammoth / Lake Tahoe ski vacation!
