Skiing is the popular activity when you stay in Incline during winter months. is a 5 minute drive to Diamond Peak, and about 25 minutes to Northstar ski resort and about 20 minutes to MT. Rose. It is also the closest town if you want to drive along the shore to south Tahoe for some fun down there. The town sits on the east side of the lake, in Nevada, so there are casinos available. The Hyatt Lake Tahoe is also in here and they are known for their spa and gourmet cuisine. There are grocery stores, movie theaters, art galleries, and lots of gourmet restaurants surrounding you. and yes, the beach is here to. Some of the Incline Village rentals have private beach access, others you will use the public beaches. The temperature of the water in Lake Tahoe is warmer over here as it gets more sun than on the west shore which is blocked by the afternoon mountain shadows. Summer is actually the more popular season here, so if you want a beach or lake front, or walk to the beach place, you do have to make your Incline Village reservations early. Just north of the main boulevard is the golf course. Incline Village recently re built their course making it conform to PGA standards. The 18 holes actually wraps around the ski resort, which makes the lodging in Incline Village valuable for both seasons. It will have unique amenities such as a gourmet kitchen, hot tub, beach view, walk to downtown or maybe the coveted, beach access. Many of our properties are on the Incline Golf Course, which of course is buried in snow in the winter, but they have views. In the summer they are a short walk to the country club.
