South Lake Tahoe Casinos and Nightlife

No question, there is fun on the South Shore. The Nevada side of Lake Tahoe has all the famous casinos. They operate all day all night, have low cost buffets, and in the evenings when they light up with really great headline entertainment. If you want to spend some fun time without the kids... drop on in. Maybe you'll come home with your vacation paid for!There's Harrahas and the new MontBleu right on the Stateline Strip. Very familiar is Harvey's and Horizon casino. But they are not the only game in town.

Moving up to the north shore, in Incline Village you can find the Lake Tahoe Hyatt Regency which not only has casino fun, but a beautiful health spa. In Crystal Bay, which is just outside Incline Village, there are a couple older style casinos which also offer incredibly cheap buffet dinners. The casinos disappear when you cross the California line, but from Northstar, or Squaw Valley area, or Tahoe City, they are only about 25 minutes away.
