Boreal Snowboard & Ski Resort

Boreal is a youth friendly, 300 acre resort. Boreal's snowboard parks are ranked Top Ten by Fuel TV! They call themselves, "A mountain ready to be cut," and private, group and beginner boarding lessons should make you ready too. It is closest to Truckee, so a hotel in Truckee would be a good idea or stay around the North Shore of Tahoe. We can also help you with your condo or vacation rental for North Lake Tahoe.

Boreal has jointed Burton's "Learn to Ride" program and they are primarily a snowboarding resort, however skiers are also encouraged. Boreal Mountain Resort is a place the whole family can enjoy. Boreal offers great snow activities including sledding. Specially designed terrain features for kids, family terrain zone and parent shared passes are just a few of the offerings at Boreal. Parent Shared Lift Pass
Parents can get the most out of their dollar and their day on the mountain by purchasing a pass that can be shared. The Parent Shared Pass is perfect for couples that have little ones not quite old enough to ride the mountain. With the Shared Pass, parents can take turns riding the mountain and supervising their kids. This means more time on the mountain and less money from your wallet. If you would like to make reservations in a hotel or Condo / Home near Boreal you would want to be in the Soda Springs area of Donner Summit, or near Truckee as Boreal is North and West of the lake.
