This youthful and family skewed
ski resort promises excellent terrain, excellent location and great value. It is a medium size resort with high annual snowfall and a long history in the South Lake Tahoe community of Twin Bridges. The
resort formerly known as Sierra Ranch, it’s now owned by Vail Resorts, which owns Northstar at Tahoe along with Heavenly Valley, so your season pass is good at all resorts. With 2000 skiable acres, ten chair
lifts and three express quads. The
managers put a great deal of emphasis is on service.
ESPECIALLY FOR KIDS
Designed exclusively for kids, Sierra-at-Tahoe has
on-mountain themed adventure zones feature terrain elements such as
rollers, mini jumps and banked turns that keep children entertained,
while signage and animated figures educate them on local history and animal
species. Each adventure zone focuses on one of the following themes:
Bear Caves, Pony Express, Maidu Meadows and the Gold Rush. The interactive
displays allow children to climb in and out of treehouses, caves and secret
hideaways. Sound effects and smoke machines enhance the experience.

lanes include 425-feet of high banked turns, rollers and a surface so slick
and quick that the tube and its passenger are nothing but a blur of smiles. Tubing
