Seriously, there are really rocks to skate - super-smooth concrete right up to the boulders. here's also a giant cradle,a Burnside wall, lumps, humps, a big'ol bowl, a love seat wall, plus zillions of different transfers and trannies, too. It's truly Epic! For more information call Mammoth Lakes Tourism & Recreation at 760-934-2712 ext.1222. See Skate Parks for more.

Shady Rest park is perfect for riding bikes, an afternoon picnic, softball, soccer, skateboarding, throwing the Frisbee, or just lying on the grass and enjoying the view. The park has all amenities including bathrooms, pay phones, a concession stand, and a children's playground. BBQ pits and shelter can be reserved for groups.
