This magnificent park borders Sequoia
National Park to the south, Yosemite
National Park to the East, Inyo National Forest to
the East, and the Sierra National Forest to
the south. The park is over 400,000 acres. Kings Canyon National Park
consists of two sections. The small, detached General
Grant Grove section of Kings Canyon National Park preserves several groves
of giant sequoia including the General Grant Grove, with the famous General
Grant Tree.
