4th of July, Hometown Fun

From the parade down the center of Old Mammoth, to the morning of Pancakes and Spaghetti, Mammoth brings some charm to their hometown celebration. This is not a small party, this is a large block party that highlights the spectacular fireworks show over Crowley Lake Set to music. July 2 - 5: Great American 4th of July Celebrations at the Village Visit the Village for the great American 4th of July "Prelude Party." Enjoy live music, family festivities, outdoor food and beverage, dancing, and fireworks on July 3 at approximately 9:30 p.m.

July 3 - 5: Main Street Summer Celebration The community of Mammoth Lakes is celebrating summer, "Mammoth style" this July 4 with a town-wide party. The three-day party begins Friday and concludes on Sunday. Mammoth will become a pedestrian and bike friendly community with the closing of two-way traffic on the south frontage road. Main Street is the focal point for the celebrations; however many businesses throughout town are hosting July 4 celebration events.

July 3 - 4: Summer Sundown Concert Series at The Village Enjoy a free concert with a different musician performing each week.

July 4: Independence Day Parade
The annual Independence Day Parade starts at 11:00 a.m. from Manzanita Road traveling down Main Street, along Old Mammoth Rd. culminating at Chateau Road.

July 4: "Pops in the Park"
Kick back at Mammoth Creek Park after the parade and enjoy a live 45-piece orchestra playing patriotic and Hollywood favorites. Hosted by Chamber Music Unbound, this concert is free and is an event not to be missed!

July 4: Fireworks at Crowley Lake
This year's fireworks show promises to be a bright and beautiful display of color in the spectacular Eastern Sierra setting. The show commences at dusk, approximately 9:15 p.m., weather permitting. Music coordinated with the show will be broadcast over KMMT. Hot Chicks of Mammoth Lakes will be selling BBQ dinners plus beer/wine/beverages. The Crowley Lake Fish Camp convenience store will be open until 8:00 p.m. and will be selling beer, soda, ice cream and snack items. There will also be free entertainment from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. $25.00 per car. $5.00 walk-in.

July 4: FREE Fishing Day in Mono County
