This is one of our favorite events, so we have lots of photos to show how wonderful Pond Skim at Canyon Lodge, Mammoth Mountain California really is. Here are the event details for this year. The Annual Spring Fest Kick Off Party & Pond Skim at Mammoth is April 21, 2012! Come and join the crowds as they fill up Canyon Lodge to watch the craziest of our Mammoth guests... ok lunatics... go straight down the mountain on their skis/Snowboards and try to cross 100ft pond! Dug out of the snow, and lined with plastic, then filled with freezing cold water, it's one of the most entertaining events you'll see all Spring! While we encourage everyone to participate, this is one, well you should just spectate and not participate, ok why not give it a shot?! The Pond Skim is open to the public. Don't forget your costume.

# 11:00am: Pond Skim Registration (open to 50 competitors only)

# 12:00pm: DJ Slip Matt kicks off the party!

# 2:00pm: Annual Pond Skim/ live music by "The Hallway Ballers"

# 4:00pm: Pond Skim Awards Ceremony
