Bluesapalooza

It is the most popular music event of the summer August 1 - 4, 2013. The 18th annual Mammoth Festival of Beers and Bluesapalooza. Like every year, Mammoth brings together an amazing line up of well renown pro talent and the widest assortment of micro brews from around the country. For the regulars who come every year, you know it is a sell out every year, with a scrambling for last minute tickets. The line up is impressive with 15 bands already signed and scheduled to play. This year will easily be as large and even more exciting. Last year a free Thursday night event was added and it was so well received, it is happening again. First come first serve and the gates open at 6:00 PM. So you can get an extra dose of blues, bluegrass, soulful, easy listening and smooth jazz starting on August 1.

The line up this year that starts on Friday night includes Joan Osborne, John Hammond, Mavis Staples, JJ Grey & Mofro, Vintage Trouble, Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics, Jimmy Thackery, Tinsely Ellis, Diego's Umbrella, Deanna Bogar, Mingo Fishtrap, Carolyn Wonderland and more. The highlight of the event is always the "Grand Tasting" where with admission, you can sample specialty beers from a wide variety of craft beer makers from all over California and Pacific West. Tickets for Bluesapalooza are already on sale, and we have the discounted 3 day all event package for $130 when you purchase lodging through us. That's a $10 savings on your tickets, but you must order your tickets now. The VIP early entry tickets are already gone! So you want to get them while you can. As the town is packed for this event, we also strongly suggest you make your Bluesapalooza reservations early so you can walk to the event, as that lodging sells out first. It now starts on Thursday August 1 with the FREE concert and that rolls right into the grand line up starting on Friday, August 2 - Sunday, August 4th 2013 outdoors among the stars at the Mammoth event site, on Minaret Road between Main Street and Meridian Boulevard.
