Make Mammoth Reservations for Spring Break

No question, spring break is an awesome time for Mammoth Mountain skiing. This year the break time is extended since Easter Sunday falls on March 23 with public schools being out on vacation for the one week after Easter. When making your Mammoth lodging, also be aware that for the private schools and Jewish schools, the break extends into April with the Passover holiday on April 20, 2008. As always, we encourage you to make your condo reservations early for the best selection as this season being a big snow year, almost every weekend is almost sold out. So if you're planning an extended stay into the midweek, you need to plan now.

Spring break is one of the best times to try June Mountain as well. June Mtn. ski resort is a short drive - about 30 minutes - north from Mammoth through the forest, and around the June Lake Basin. The ski area is easy to find, you just follow the June Loop which refers to the way the road makes a loop around the lakes. If you are using a GPS, then you're programming in Highway 158. Your Mammth ski pass, lift ticket or season pass is also good at June and you can even split the days. So why not!
