Mammoth Festival

Mark your calendar August 15 - 18, 2013 for this year's festival. Last year was great. Read all about it. The following information is from the 2012 event. The big news is the headliner is Kenny Loggins! If you are a foodie and a wine lover, the Mammoth Festival of Food and Wine is for you. Each year Mammoth brings together a fine assortment of wineries into the Village for their annual wine walk. Taste, sip, schmooze and see friends as you wander from station to station sampling the grapes.

The event starts on Thursday evening with a Winemaker Dinner at the Top of the Sierra; on Friday evening the event moves to The Village for the Wine Walk presented by the Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation; on Saturday Mammoth Festival takes over the rustic wood site surrounded by pines and the fresh mountain air with a day full of live music and fabulous wine. More than 4,000 attendees will enjoy perfect weather, great wines, appetizing eats and amazing art. The weekend-long event concludes at Campo Mammoth in The Village with the Sunday Brunch at the restaurant.

Thursday Evening - Join us at over 9,600 feet for a culinary experience that will take your breath away. Ride the Scenic Gondola to the Parallax Restaurant and enjoy five gourmet courses expertly paired with select Frog's Leap vintages at the highest Winemaker Dinner in California. Seating is at 6:30pm.

Friday - Stroll the Village at Mammoth sampling wines and enjoying live music during the Wine Walk in The Village presented by the Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation. 6 to 9pm.

Saturday - Celebrate wine, music and the outdoors in a stunning Sierra setting. Sample the wares of over 40 top wineries at the Grand Tasting while you enjoy live music from a variety of regional and national acts, browse local arts and crafts and explore tasty offerings from the region's best restaurants. 12 to 6pm (Wine Tasting 1 to 5pm). As dusk settles over the Sierra peaks get ready for Kenny Loggins, Donavon Frankenreiter, Zoux and more performing in an unforgettable location amongst the towering pines. 6 to 9pm.

Sunday Morning - Wake up to a gourmet meal and live music by Jonathan Kingham with the Champagne Brunch at Hyde Lounge. Seatings: 9am and 11am
