Ski Mammoth Mountain Top To Bottom

Altitude is king, and Mammoth is open from top to bottom. Reporting a base of up to 48" You can take the gondola to the top and ski all the way down to Broadway at the Main Lodge. Coverage is good with minimal debris in your way for fun. Scotty's is a little crusted over, and St. Antons a bit thin, but Chairs 3, 5, 12, 1, 6, 2, and Gold Rush are all open and in great shapes. Favorite runs this past weekend were "Lost In The Woods" "Secret Spot", "Patrolmans" and "Solitude". Not so fun was Cornice because of the wind(yes Mammoth gets wind Johnny!) and Discovery Chair was mega crowded. All in all, worth the drive and can't beat the gas prices now at $1.99 in Los Angeles. Remember, Mammoth is just one tank away!
