Snow Dump In Mammoth 2-24-2010

The weather is making the news again in Mammoth. Snow Dump. Another BIG one. over 18" of powder has fallen and more is on the way. Los Angeles get ready to be belted by the rain... cause we got the snow! This coming weekend the Mammoth forecast is for another 1-2 feet of snow. For all you weather hounds, the amount of snow is determined not just by the water in the clouds, but how cold it is. The colder it is, the more snow from the same amount of water. But who cares, the skiing is great, and with spring break around the corner, the slopes will be white... very white.
