Spring Snow, Mammoth Events, Fun in the Sun

Mammoth is warm right now and with a 14" foot base is planning on staying open till July 4, 2010! This Spring Fest Season starts with the infamous Pond Skim, but it headed by tons of parties, fun, Cinco de Mayo festivities, Father's Day and more.
This is the funniest of all events where skiers and riders try to cross the man made lake after getting up the speed from a steep downhill. If they don't make it across the pond... they get wet!

Mammoth also offers many activities that are not ski or snowboard related including dog sled rides, snowmobiles you can rent, and simple pleasures like building snowmen and riding on a snow saucer or inner tube.

Fishing Season opens April 23, 2010 and if history proves correct, it always snows on the fishing season opener, so plan for it. Spring Fest... a great way to spend time in Mammoth
