So we have a late winter! Hooray. If you haven't been following the snow dumps, the Mammoth Ski Area is reporting a base of 7-9 feet, and the last storm at the end of February brough about 3 feet of new snow. Yes, winter has finally arrived just in time for spring. If you're thinking about coming on up for Spring Break, April 8 is Easter Sunday and most of the Los Angeles schools have spring break on the calendar anywhere from March 26 - April 13. Presidents Day In Mammoth
February 15-19, 2007

The Thursday to Monday holiday weekend is a prime Mammoth weekend and regulars already know. There will live bands to dance to, music and events on the ski hill, and a lot of family fun in and around the Village. Pick up The Sheet when in town to get a list of all the events.

Are you ready for some fine tuning with your board? The Pipe and Park camp is for serious riders who want to work with the best to upgrade their style. The camp backs up to the Vans Slopeside tourney on Feb. 25

Village Championship Races
February 27, March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 3, 2007

Ever had the need for speed. The Village Championship races begin at the end of this month. This is an open invitation for anyone to come out and give it a try. You compete against your own age and ability. Sponsored by the Mammoth race department, these events are a ton of fun, even if you can't make all the races. But be warned, racing is an addictive sport!
