Springtime is a fabulous time of year to visit Mammoth Lakes. It provides great skiing and snowshoeing, awesome weather, thawing lakes, and glimpses of wildlife and plant life peaking out from their winter hideaways. A bit of something for everybody. Fishing Season opens this month - finally - for all you eager anglers! We have some great fishing outfitters and guides to "hook" you up with. And there are 127 inches of new snow on the Mountain this past March and a 14 to 16 foot base - superb spring conditions for you folks that want to wring every drop out of this winter snow pack. Even the bird watchers are starting to get their binoculars dusted off! And remember, Passover, April 15, and Easter, April 16 are wonderful, special times to spend with the family in Mammoth. Obviously, we are smack in the middle of a busy Spring Break rush, from mid-March to the end of April, so plan your Mammoth Lakes vacation now so you don’t' find yourself with vacation time to spend and no place to lodge. There are so many fun things to do up here, so be sure to go to www.CityConcierge.com to see the entire list of April activities. So when ya drivin' up?
