The newsletter yesterday announcing the snow, had some broken links, so pardon us for resending it corrected! Well, the good news is it is STILL snowing in Mammoth. Yes as of today Friday April 8, it is STILL snowing. That is in addition to the 15" of powder that the April Showers brought on Monday and the 5 inches on Thursday. So the good news is that with this much more snow, and the already 13-15 foot base, Mammoth might still be open in APRIL! Spring Specials are now online. Most are multi-day discounts, and some even include lift tickets. We have a limited number of these through several of our partners, so if you are planning on coming up, please check the specials out. We do request that you give us ample time to process your reservation and call you to confirm. Here is the link to special deals for spring 2005. If you just can't wait for us to call, then you need to use our centralized reservation service for the town with all available hotels and condo rentals online. So if you can sneak away for a long weekend, use our real time electronic service to find the perfect set of lodging. FISHING SEASON OPENER - The Weekend of April 30 is the fishing season opener. Berkely, the makers of Power Bait are giving away $10,000 if you can find "Jake" the Trout with the special tag. Plan on more cold and snow, but the lakes that are not frozen will be open. Activities happening during April madness are right here. There are so many things happening this month, that it was just too numerous to list. Till next issue.... |
