There is quite a lot going on this month in Mammoth. Sierra Star golf course opened. The Mountain Bike Park is open. The Village started their free movie night. A free trolley started shuttling visitors to all the hot spots in town. There is tennis camp for adults and kids, along with horseback riding lessons, and the lakes continue to get stocked with trout about every other week. Whew! There is so much happening, we are only listing the biggies, but be sure to check out our most complete list, including all the live entertainment.

Whiskey Creek each year has the ice break event, so be sure to check out the entertainment calendar each week, to see what wonderful groups they will have live on stage inside their pub, brew, restaurant.

FEATURED ACTIVITY
Few people know about the natural hot springs that flow around the Mammoth area. The hot springs are heated by the lava and magma that flows under Mammoth Mountain and the Eastern Sierra. What? You didn't know Mammoth was a volcano area?

The melting mountain snow is sucked into fizzures in the ground and heated by the earth's core, than is pushed back out by pressure in a different location. At Hot Creek Geological Site, that hot water is mixing with cold mountain snow run-off and blends to make a fabulous hot tub soak. It is always fun at Hot Creek. Many folks picnic and party, but we remind you not to bring any glass containers, because accidents happen. If a glass breaks, the site gets closed. Read all about at our site right here.
