ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS, September 2006

This Labor Day Weekend, September 1-4, 2006 Mammoth Lakes is going to be rocking! There are so many things to do for the whole family, places to party, music to listen to, that we can't fit them all in! In its second year, the Million Dollar Troutstock returns bigger and better. The idea is simple, catch one of the tagged trout and you might have a chance to win $1,000,000. The 4 day weekend features a kick-off party at the Sherwin's featureing bluegrass sensation TONY FURTADO, 3 concerts on Sunday from Blue Turtle Seduction, and Pure Prairie League & Poco, of 70's country-rock fame (sure to bring back good memories!). And of course, there'll be clowns, roving musicians, tons of great artists and crafts, fair food, and it is all topped off with the Million Dollar Awards Ceremony on Monday at 1:00pm in Sam's Woods. And it is all topped off with "Everything Trout" from the Festival of the Arts. You want a good condo for the weekend, do it now. So when ya drivin' up? ?
