Sierra fall colors are peaking now! There is still time to slip in an October visit to Mammoth Lakes to enjoy, according to locals, one of the most spectacular autumns they've ever seen! This year's display of color is framed in recent snow dustings as the 2005 ski season quickly approaches. In the meantime, the month of harvest offers some wonderful events and recreational activities with warm days, crisp nights, and few crowds providing a serene mountain atmosphere for hiking, biking, and fishing, as well as quality family events in town. So when ya drivin' up?

Christmas Holiday Update

Many Lodging Providers are already saying SOLD OUT from 12/26 - 12/31. That is mostly true if you want a shorter stay. But...if you realize that in December Mammoth has snow... better than the Colorado resorts, then plan on a 7 nights stay. We have availability on 6 and 7 night stays.

Now if you're really into skiing, come up a week earlier and not only save on the rates, but less people. Dec 16-26. Lots of availability starting with a 4 night minimum in most places! Fill out this form to get the City Concierge to help find you accommodations.
