Mammoth Mountain is fully open and piling up the snow with some splendid help from Mother Nature! It snowed another 3" last night giving us a total of 30" for the latest storm. Early season riders will be delighted to find snowboarding camps and competitions already underway. And if you want to see the slopes for yourself, checkout the four web cameras on our site. The Mountain lays claim to a 3,100 foot drop from 11,053 feet to 8,000. Riders will love the half pipe at the Unbound Snowboard Terrain Park, and skiers will just plain love more awesome terrain than most other resorts around. Everything is expected to be open this weekend. And now you can reserve your ski gear online through Footloose on our site so you won't have to wait it a dreaded holiday line! June Mountain Opening Day

June Mountain opens this Saturday! This great family resort is also a local's favorite for skiing and boarding. That says a lot! June Mountain is one of the only ski areas in the country that offers a mixed-use environment for the family that rides, glides, and slides. June is always quiet and the runs are wide open. There are never any lift lines at June so it is a great way to ditch the crowds!

Tannenbaum Race 10K Classic

Tamarack Ski Resort Ski Center will hold the Tannenbaum 10k Classic Race! This event is a fundraiser for the Eastern Sierra Nordic Ski Association (ESNSA), which supports junior cross-country skiing. Come ski, race, and enjoy the day in the gorgeous Lake Mary Basin. There's even a Kids Fun Race. Entry Fee: $15 Seniors/Masters and $5 Juniors.

VANS Unbound Freestyle Series - Slopestyle

The Mountain is hosting the USASA sanctioned slopestyle event and everyone is welcome to compete! Try out your new skills from the Pipe and Park camp. The day and the competitors are sure to be a blast, whether you're a rider or spectator! Registration fee is $10 at the time of the event. (Lift ticket/pass required; USASA membership required, purchased at registration for a one-time fee)

News Years Eve Celebrations

Join The Village at Mammoth and Sherwins for exciting celebrations! The Village party features fireworks to ring in the 2006 New Year, with the first 250 people receiving a champagne and cider toast. Call 760-924-1575 for info.
