Palm Springs Gay Friendly Hotels

Palm Springs has a large gay population. These hotels open their arms and are gay friendly. Good for relaxing, socializing and offer first class amenities for that first class dates. The desert community is made up of smaller cities including Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, La Quinta and Indian Wells. You may want to stay just outside the downtown area closer to your favorite night club, bar, or dance club.

There are a lot of special event parties catering to the gay crowd including the very big "White" festival every spring along with the Palm Springs Gay Rodeo.  If you're planning on attending, or you'll just happen to be here during that weekend, you should book your lodging way in advance of the dates as these are sold out events.  They're crowded and it is like Mardi Gras everywhere you go. 

This is also true for the Coachella Music Festival, while not a "gay" event, is crowded with people spilling into the towns of Palm Springs.

If you're flying in for a big event you can fly direct with these Airlines to Palm Springs or you may wish to stay in Boy's Town in a West Hollywood Hotel before you venture to the desert.  The "season" in Palm Springs is November - April, but many GLBT come all year long.  For those long weekends, you may want to do a Palm Springs vacation rentals with your won private swimming pool. They are more private, and you'll get more splash time.
