Palm Springs Golf Vacations

Palm Springs vacations are a lot of fun from December to April which is the "season" where the temperatures are beautiful and not too hot. Right around 85 degrees would be the normal temperature with cooler night time temperatures in the "winter" months, warming up as it approaches June, and July. Golf, of course is the big sport in the desert and the courses are in prime shape during "winter" and there are more golf courses than you can possibly play at in one vacation. The most popular are the PGA certified courses which would be tougher and longer than the semi private courses often found in the developments. Popular are Mission Hills, La Quinta and Indian Wells which are all private, so you need an "in" to get you on the course. Usually your own pro at your local country club is enough to do the trick. Have them book your rounds, and don't forget a little tip for doing so.
