Los Angeles is about 5 hours south of Mammoth. Tahoe Area Map Squaw Valley ski resort is in the city of Olympic Valley, CA, which is in North Lake Tahoe, also on the north west shore is Alpine Meadows, Homewood ski resorts and Tahoe City , Tahoe Vista are close by where the action is. Northstar At Tahoe ski resort is in the city of Truckee, which is just a few miles from the North Shore slightly to the west. On the North east side of Northstar is Kings Beach and then the border to Nevada. Incline Village Nevada is next to Kings Beach and is on the west shore. Diamond Peak and Mt. Rose in the city of Incline Village, Nevada. The airport, in Reno is to the north of Northstar and the north shore by about 45 minutes. Heavenly Valley sits on the border of South Lake Tahoe California and Stateline Nevada and is near Zephyr Cove |
