Tahoe City is the main town in North Lake Tahoe. Make your Tahoe Hotel Reservations for these hotels on the shuttle route to the different ski resort areas. Most of the hotels in Tahoe are right along the lake border which is also lined with shops, restaurants and clubs for evening fun. Just put in your dates and press "get rates". You may also want to try hotels in Olympic Valley which is closest to the Squaw Valley resort or Hotels in Truckee which would be closest to Northstar at Tahoe. All three areas are connected by shuttle bus, and only about 15 minutes apart by car.
