Annual Events
This community seems to recreate, so it's no surprise they hold year round parties, festivals and events. Of course you can see fireworks on the lake for the 4th, take your kids trick or treating for free candy downtown on Halloween or wave at Santa during the big tree lighting at Christmas, but there's so much more.
Winter is all about concert and performance series, and enchanting snowshoe hikes through the woods, day or night. Spring and summer catch a movie shown at night by the lake or a concert at the Discovery Center/ amphitheater plus cowboy and motorcycle gatherings, arts festivals, multisport competitions, kayak and paddle races, a golf tourney, regatta, horse clinics and more.
